Introduction to SE “USIE IZOTOP”

That’s why we’re launching a short series of posts to introduce our enterprise, its history and its current capabilities.
⚛️ SE “USIE IZOTOP” is a state enterprise of strategic and critical importance to Ukraine, with over 60 years of experience (on the market since 1962) in the safe and secure management of radioactive materials throughout their life cycle.
Our key areas of activity:
🧬 Supply of radiopharmaceuticals (radiation medicines) for medical institutions, particularly oncology, as well as for scientific research.
🔬 Supply of all types of ionizing radiation sources for medical, industrial, energy and research applications.
🧪 Provision of open and sealed sources for laboratories and research institutions.
🛠️ Full scope services for radioisotope equipment: installation, dismantling, source exchange (reloading) and maintenance.
🚚 Transportation of Class 7 hazardous materials (import, export, transit) using specialized vehicles and certified transport and packaging sets that meet IAEA safe transport standards.
☢️ Temporary storage of radiation sources including DRSs and transfer to a specialized enterprise for disposal.
📊 Operation of the State Register of Sources of Ionizing Radiation and Personal Occupational Exposure Doses, the unified national accounting and control system.
🤝🌍 Partnership with international manufacturers and official representation of their products and technologies in Ukraine.
