February 4th – World Cancer Day

On February 4, the world celebrates World Cancer Day.

SE “USIE IZOTOP”  takes a direct part in overcoming the disease, which, according to the Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, ranks second among the main causes of death in Ukraine and in the world as a whole.

The basis of our activity is the supply to Ukraine of radiopharmaceuticals for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, which help to “see” individual organs, identify neoplasms, diagnose and treat (and cure) the disease, and sources of ionizing radiation for radiation therapy.

Oncological diseases are insidious because they are difficult to diagnose in the early stages, when the cancer is curable. At the same time, the World Health Organization points out that from 30% to 50% of diagnoses can be prevented under simple conditions: a healthy lifestyle + annual preventive examinations.

Cancer is curable. Science is moving forward, and doctors have new methods of fighting for the health of patients.
