SE “USIE IZOTOP” as part of the Ukrainian delegation at the 52nd annual Waste Management Symposia 2026 (WM2026)

👩‍⚖️ Deputy Director for Commercial Issues Oksana Korol represented the SE “USIE IZOTOP” as part of the Ukrainian delegation at the 52nd annual Waste Management Symposia 2026 (WM2026), held on March 8-12 in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
Together with colleagues from the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine and the State Scientific and Technical Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety, she presented the experience of our state at this leading global platform.

📚 Our participation in WM2026 became possible thanks to many years of fruitful cooperation and support from the Norwegian Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority. We sincerely thank our Norwegian partners for their consistent assistance to Ukraine in strengthening radiation safety and security.

Today, the voice of Ukraine is critically important. We are sharing unique practical experience in:
🔹 the management of disused sources of ionizing radiation.
🔹 ensuring radiation safety and security of sources of ionizing radiation under conditions of armed conflict.

The Ukrainian cases are evidence of the resilience of our system and of the ability of specialists to maintain the highest standards of control even under the most difficult circumstances. Together with international partners, we are shaping a safe future.
