SE “USIE SZOTOP” is a Part of the “REBIRTH OF UKRAINE 2025” Trade Mission in the UK🇬🇧
The team of SE “USIE IZOTOP”, led by Director Volodymyr Kalachyk, joined the official Ukrainian delegation at the international trade and economic mission “REBIRTH OF UKRAINE.”
This Ukrainian – British trade mission focused on supporting and rebuilding Ukraine’s economy.
The event took place in London and Edinburgh from May 19 to 28, 2025.
The mission was organized by leading Ukrainian and British organizations, including: Economy of Trust Ukraine Inc., NGO “Club of Mayors,” the Ukrainian Agency for Municipal Economic Development (UMEDA), International Platform NAZOVNI, the Embassy of Ukraine in the United Kingdom, and the UK Department for Business and Trade, along with many partner institutions.
This large event brought together government officials, city representatives, venture business, investment funds tech hubs, chambers of commers and energy clusters of both countries. The main goal was to unite resources, intellectual capital, and technological know-how for building a resilient, innovation-oriented, and investment-attractive Ukrainian economy.
Within the framework of the mission, numerous events took place: business forums, panel discussions, strategic workshops, B2B meetings and networking platforms, visits to enterprises and institutions, held at key venues—at the Embassy of Ukraine in the United Kingdom, Coventry University, the Parliaments of England and Scotland, and the city administrations of London and Edinburgh.

A particularly significant event was participation in the signing ceremony of the historic Memorandum of Understanding and Economic Support between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Secretariat of the Cabinet of the Scottish Government, opening new horizons for socio-economic, scientific, and cultural integration between our countries.
During the official program, the SE “USIE IZOTOP” team presented their flagship initiatives, including a the project to establish a high-tech cyclotron center for the production of radioisotope products, the development of infrastructure for alternative energy generation, and the formation of a digital analytical laboratory for monitoring sources of ionizing radiation. Models of financial and technical support from British partners within the framework of an international scientific and industrial cooperation were also discussed.
In addition, as part of the visit, a strategic meeting was held with representatives of the University of Bristol, during which key areas of cooperation were defined in the fields of research, nuclear technology, and radiation safety, joint technological developments, academic exchanges, and advanced training of personnel. The negotiations resulted is the signing of a Memorandum of Scientific and Technical Cooperation and Partnership.
SE “USIE IZOTOP” continues to actively expand its presence on the international stage, integrating into global innovation ecosystems, promoting Ukrainian initiatives, and building a reliable foundation for the future transnational and international projects.
