Strengthening the international cooperation.

Team of SE “USIE IZOTOP”, as part of the official delegation of Ukraine, took part in the regular project meetings with the U.S. Department of Energy / National Nuclear Security Administration’s Office of Radiological Security (ORS) and representatives of GRS GmbH and German Federal Foreign Office, which took place from 12 to 14 April 2025 in Prague, Czech Republic.

The Ukrainian delegation, led by the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine, included the representatives of SE “USIE IZOTOP”, State Agency of Ukraine on Exclusion Zone Management, SSE “Central Enterprise for Radioactive Waste Management”, SSE “Association “Radon”, and ETC “Atomenergotrening”.

A report on the implementation of the current projects and programs was presented to our international partners, and new potential areas of cooperation were discussed.

The meetings and successful negotiations of the parties resulted in agreement to continue and strengthen the substantive cooperation to enhance the capabilities of our enterprise in further activities with ionizing radiation sources and radioactive materials, that is extremely important for ensuring the radiological safety and security especially in the context of the martial law in Ukraine.

We thank our long-standing partners from the USA and Germany for their continued support and cooperation!

We confirm the ability to supply RFP to Ukraine even under martial law.

SE “USIE IZOTOP” successfully passed the inspection of the State Service of Ukraine for Medicines and Drug Control, confirming the compliance of the material and technical base and pharmaceutical quality system of the enterprise with the requirements of the Licensing Conditions for the Conduct of Economic Activities for the Production of Medicines, Wholesale and Retail Trade in Medicines, and Import of Medicines (except for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 30.11.2016 No. 929.

In accordance with the license for the import of medicines, SE “USIE IZOTOP” supplies registered radiopharmaceuticals according to the list:

•⁠ ⁠Poltechnet, radionuclide generator;

•⁠ ⁠Kits for the preparation of radiopharmaceuticals (together with a radionuclide generator):
❖ Poltech MDP;
❖ Poltech DTPA;
❖ Poltech MIBI;
❖ Tektrotide;

•⁠ ⁠Sodium iodide Na131I for injection, solution for injection

•⁠ ⁠Sodium iodide Na131I POLATOM, hard capsules.

Radiopharmaceuticals are vital medicines for combating cancer, saving patients, improving their quality of life and helping doctors conduct highly accurate diagnostics of cancer, cardiological, neurological and many other diseases.

SE “USIE IZOTOP” aims to expand the list of radiopharmaceuticals supplied to Ukraine and actively cooperates with European manufacturers to meet the needs of medical institutions and patients in accordance with their needs, available equipment and methods of diagnosis and treatment!

SE “USIE IZOTOP” Experts Boost Cybersecurity Knowledge with U.S.-Supported Training

Representatives from SE “USIE IZOTOP” successfully completed a Cybersecurity Training organized by the Office of Radiological Security (ORS) of the U.S. Department of Energy / National Nuclear Security Administration. The event took place from April 8-10, 2025, in Prague, Czech Republic.

The training was attended by Vitaliy LELYUKH, Deputy Director for Economics and Finance, Kyrylo KVITKA, Head of the Information Technology and Programming Department, and Serhii FILOVETS, Head of the Physical Protection Department.

The participants gained up-to-date knowledge to bolster the company’s cybersecurity, exchanged insights with international experts, and discussed modern cyber threats and their prevention methods.

This training will enhance the security of SE “USIE IZOTOP” information systems and strengthen cooperation with American partners.

Representatives of SE “USIE IZOTOP” Explored New Cooperation and Market Expansion Opportunities in Ukraine

In March 2025, a delegation from SE “USIE IZOTOP”, led by Volodymyr Kukharev, Head of the Nuclide Technology Department, and Nataliia Danchuk, Head of the Isotope Product Department, along with Sanna Kozlenko, Lead Engineer of the International Cooperation Department, embarked on a significant business trip to France and Poland.

From March 24 to 26, 2025, the team attended the 15th Annual Healthcare Business International 2025 Conference (HBI 2025) in Paris and Puteaux, France. New opportunities, prospects, and technologies in the healthcare industry were discussed at the Conference and beyond.
In Paris, the team held business meetings to discuss future cooperation on the supply of ionizing radiation sources and the expansion of the radiopharmaceutical market.

On March 28, 2025, a partnership meeting took place in Otwock, Poland, with the National Centre for Nuclear Research Radioisotope Centre “POLATOM”. The discussions focused on supporting the existing cooperation and exploring prospects for further collaboration.
